The PocketCap
was developed as a result of the clean, well-defined length
of the cut tendon tail resulting from the use of thePocketShear.

| The Anchor
Standard
anchors can be used
as the PocketCap
attaches to the strand end,
not to a special anchor.

is available for 1/2" strand. The .6" version
will be available in 2008

The
PocketCap
is furnished in two lengths that fit
the anchor you currently use.

Wedges
are not an issue for
the PocketCap
Normal stressing and seating operations should take place.

& Seated Wedges
In
order for the
PocketCap to
create
a good seal, the wedges when fully seated, should be flush,
or lower than the anchor.

& Cut Tendon Tail
No
tendon tails should be cut prior to elongation approvals.
Use the PocketCap
immediately after cutting.

The
PocketCap
utilizes
a metal "snap ring" for
attachment to the strand end
and a foam seal for
watertight encapsulation.

& PocketCap
The
seal is a closed cell,
HDPE foam that compresses between the cap and the
anchor face causing
a watertight seal.

FinishedPocketCap
The
PocketCap
can be supplied with, or
without corrosion inhibitor.
Other void fillers are
also available.
